A very windy day…a 16th birthday party…a friend’s parent’s borrowed gazebo…maybe not secured too well?!….

Only prevented from crashing into next door’s conservatory by a tree (& next door is a copper!)…thought it might make you giggle! No real harm done & no-one got arrested!

You could get £250 for this if its on video?

Actually...I've called it a gazebo but it was more like one of those marquee things you have for weddings tho' a mini version!
Sadly no it wasn't on video Denise or the money would've helped towards the cost of patching it up...it got badly torn...& permission had not been given by the parents in question. Why do teenagers get themselves in such scrapes?!
They behaved pretty well after this little hiccup...considering there was about 50 there...& the party broke up at midnight after a complaint from the neighbours the other side so that was about right for a 16th.

Were they never young?.........

Well...to be fair the lads were peeing on their drive & smoking near their haybales so I think they had every right to shout...I just wish youngsters didn't have that built in desire to do the opposite of what they're told!

She certainly did Lincslass...several of them stayed the night in tents...well...when I say the night...they were all indoors asleep before 2am! Too cold! Wimps eh? In my day if I put my tent up in the garden to stay out in my parents locked the house door & I had to stay out there!!

lol - I had to laugh at the photos.
They remind me of a gazebo my dad bought once. I went to help him put it up. It took ages and after we finnished we went in the house to have a cup of tea.
Later when I went back out to take a look at the gazebo it wasn't there - the wind had got up and blown it into the garden next door :D

I have to say we didn't help with the retrieval of the by now pretty shredded marquee...the father was so angry he felt the teenagers had to sort it out themselves & wouldn't let us help! Not a happy bunny...
