From Gardener's World.... to Antiques Roadshow !! (Well... maybe eBay!)

So Friday’s GW was inspiring for me with its tree planting. We chose a flowering cherry blossom because they are so pretty and I have always wanted one. I prepared the whole for the root ball, lo and behold an 18th century pewter baby spoon came out of my hole, plus some ancient pliers and a bottle opener. Sadly they’re not worth enough for me to get professionals in, so, still poor yet happy to be spending sunny days planning the blank canvas.
I really wanted to get my potatoes in today, however the weeding has taken up so much time.
