Star-gazing photo-op

Venus and Jupiter are due to make their “closest appraoch” on the 14th – hope for clear skies and good views for those of you that have the cameras, the skill and the ideal locations.
I make my own calendars, and always add “close” astronomical dates: conjunctuions, meteor showers and such, nfi why as I mostly forget to check the dates, and even when I do there’s very little chance of me actually being able to see the event!
Still, for those who can, please share pics!

hope for clear skies on the night - well, they'll be close for several nights, I assume, but close-st only on one - ;-} but that's what cut 'n paste is for

I knew I'd forget it! did anyone remember and have clear skies? They should still be fairly close tonight, if I can rememebr that far ahead, sigh
