Species: Daffodil.
Daffodils are a joy to behold in the spring. I always have a few on my balcony, unfortunately, due to limited space available, I can't keep many. But I have managed to keep some mini daffs in one pot for several years now.
I used to buy some every year then when they had finished I would take them out of the containers & plant them in the gardens of the Red Cross centre when I looked after the gardens. There they could grow & replace their energy for the following spring. They still continue to grow & flower every year!
