You have a lovely garden, ML. I like all the tiarellas(?). Good to have trees in the background. They somehow extend a garden and add depth.

Ah thanks to all of you......Paul,Sticki,Cin and Obj......hope I haven't left anyone out LOL........The trees are my nightmare, have managed to find a reliable gardener (who knows his plants) who helps me twice a year.

Beautiful garden. I am creating a new garden on a quarter acre section to go with our lovely 1910 weatherboard villa. I want to end up with a garden that is interesting, romantic, & with a little touch of whimsy. I am always seeking inspiration & your garden has certainly inspired me.

That is so kind of you,Dwyllis.....It will be an exciting journey for you,1/4 acre is a wonderful blank canvas..Hope to see some photos as you go along.......That was my intention too.I wanted to create a slightly romantic/interesting garden. It has taken a few years, learning by mistakes.
