Hi, Louise!

I also like the crimson leaves on blueberry bushes. They are, in my opinion, great value plants, with their flowers, berries and autumn colour.

Isn't it? Most deciduous trees are now showing their Autumn colours. This afternnoon, I took the kids and 2 friends to a park to collect conkers/horse chestnuts. Yes, they are already ripe here. When I was a kid, this was always associated with October. Interesting!

Really beautiful. I've noticed a blueberry field gone scarlet down the road. I'll go get a shot tomorrow to post. All wild and wonderful. It is well on autumn here.

Well I ve waited all summer for some sun and this week been lovely .. any more talk of autumn and winter .. someone even posted pics of winter flowering pansies ..Greenthumb your forgiven in Alaska but in UK ? please

Not quite prepared here for winter pansies!!!!! They should appear in March!

Autumn - my fave time of year, whenever that is, but officially Sept/Oct/Nov. Yes, Marie, many trees and shrubs here now displaying colours hotter than those associated with summer - love them! Must be something to do with the fact that me and the kids all born October - we love the colours, "conker" collecting, blue sky days, "Indian Summer", sunbathing on the beach, barbies, etc Autumn here now, is better than so-called summer - not kidding, either!. :-))

Just wish that it didn't come around so quickly every year! :-((
