The tall white plant, Janey! I thought it was a type of agapanthus, myself, but turns out to be a late form of Nerine!!!!! forgot to write it down exactly, sorry, but will look again on next visit). It is a beauty, isn't it?

The wire reminds me of when we used to take my grandmother to a botanical garden or a park. She'd come back to the car with her pockets full of cuttings, I did the same too because I saw her do it. Not now though.

Yes, Gillian, from Hywel's comment above, lol! What I didn't think to do, however, was hold the camera up high over the top of the wire, aim, and hope for the best!
