Mid-Winter Downunder - dwarf Variegated Bougainvillea flowering

These are the first ever bracts and flowers on this slow-growing dwarf!

It's very attractive! I've seen these here, however, didn't know they were slow growing. Most are very fast growing here (even the ones that are suppose to stay small and bushy. :>)

Well mine didn't get the memo about speedy growth, let me tell you. It's THE slowest growing thing in the world.

Is it in a pot? When Bougainvillea is grown in a pot it stays small and grows slowly.

I have a 23 year old Bougainvillea 'Orange King' which has stayed small in a pot. I'll have to post a pic in the next day or so.
