Our new garden is very leafy, which attracts many small birds and squirrels.

Many Thanks to you both. Yes, we have a lovely green background already in place, ready for an injection of colour.Janette, the bird bath was a present I bought for my parents years ago. When they had to move home 5 years ago they gave me it back, and now it has come with us to our new home.

Looks great David. The sort of garden it's nice to inherit. You can add your own imprint as time goes on.

David ~
This looks wonderful.
The basic shape is there, and you'll improve it cleverly and thoughtfully.
Looking forward to further photos. :o)

I agree with everyone, you have definitely acquired a beautiful garden there.

Avis, I was just looking at it today, and this area is full of colour right now, which I couldn't have envisaged back in September. Must take a pic tomorrow.

Unfortunately, Louis, that garden was short-livef, as moved on before I could get to grips with it. I agree, however, that the previous owners did the right thing as regards path colour and shape. :-))
