i always thought that bee houses were just ornaments.then i saw that the holes were being blocked up,i really thought i was going mad,then look what i saw.ye of little faith seems to spring to mind!

i was amazed when i saw the holes blocked,i am going to get some more,i feel like a mum to BEE,waiting for the babies to appear,theyre great arent they Toto.

They are great Sue. Last year I was lucky enough to witness lots of activity around one of mine when the bees emerged.

theyre great Amy,ive put mine where its quite sunny on the fence.the main reason for that is, its above the flower bed,where theres loads of nectar.

hi Jem i bought the bee box from morrisons.it was £4.its just a wooden box in the shape of an house, which is filled with bamboo canes that have been hollowed out.you can buy them online and in pet shops,but they are a bit more expensive.the bees have now used 20 of the holes,i am looking forward to the new arrivals,i really feel like a mum to bee,lol

Definitely,I have three now nearly full.I love them.Its fascinating to watch the bees coming and going and filling up the holes.
