It was like velvet Jacque , I don,t suppose it would let me if it had been fully awake , He wanted his supper first . I watched it pick each little crystal up ...... :o)

How sweet of you to give this little one a treat. I'm abnormally afraid of these! As soon as they buzz me my heart starts racing like crazy and I can feel all my hairs raise on my body!!! I wish that I didn't do that, becuase I'd like to photograph them. Liked your story of petting it... I just got goosebumps thinking of touching it! lol

I don,t think they would sting you unless they felt threatened or trapped in your clothing Tasty , we are proberly more afraid of them than they are of us , I would worry more if it was a swarm of wasps .. LOL ..

I had 2 on my heather the other day, but had gone by the time I got my camera. As you say, must have been the warmer weather that brought them out.
