This will really fill out by next year. You have made a really good effort and there are folks on this site who will help you out about gardening.

Thanks Linda, there's 5/6 more plants added since I took this photo, I really can't wait to see it fill out :)

In May June and July I usually give my flowerbeds a water with some feed in about two or three times in the month.

There seems to be so many types of feed, can you recommend a good one Linda? :)

I buy the packet containing phostrogen. It's usually a blue powder that you mix a scoopful to a canful of water. ALthough there is an ericacious feed to feed your heathers, rhodedendrons and azalias with in the same method. If you have a WIlkinsons store their feed is cheaper but just as good. If not Miracle Gro is fine. I usually give my roses a handful of bonemeal in the springtime and hoe it around the base of the bushes. Hope this helps

Thanks so much Linda, I'm off to Wilkos on Sunday so I'll have a look at theirs :)

Wilkinsons are very good value and I buy quite a lot there, the only problem with ours is that there isn't a car park next to it. If we get cat litter we buy two or three bags and I stand outside and wait with the shopping while Gerry gets the car from the local car park.
