View from Osaka's chopped down mountain

This is taken looking "behind" mountains in Osaka that were chopped down to provide rock to reclaim coastal land. The pink flowering trees are cherry blossom which is supposed to be in full bloom. While back in England plants are blooming early, here the cherry blossoms are about a week late. The pinks in the hills are already brighter than in this photo. Hopefully I'll get out in the next few days to take another photo of the same view but brighter.
