Bottom of the mountain

At the end of the hedge of white flowers is a pink mountain cherry blossom. The mountain cherry blossom's leaves bud at the same time as the flowers bloom. This was taken at the foot of hills near Osaka, the steps in the hillside with stairs leading up are there as the top of the mountains was removed and put in the sea to reclaim land for Osaka airport.

I'm lucky to visit, and to have been there when the cherry blossom was in full bloom, there's a very short period where the blossom is considered at its best.
