ultimate height would be somewhere in the region 30 feet +. it grows about 12 inches per year once established, my plant is about 12 years old, and I guess around 10-12 feet high

And like the Genus Quercus (Oak's) it uses a member of the Crow family (Spotted Nutcracker) to distribute it's relatively large un-winged seeds. They bury them for winter food store and in milder winters, many being left to sprout and neatly planted too.
