Last year's bedding Dahlia

Its gorgeous, what a lovely colour

I loved them both on sight last year, but I never for a moment thought they'd survive and flower again!

Well there you go then, life's full of little surprises !!

That certainly was one - a BIG surprise! :-))))

One of my all time favourites.......Dahlias....I don't take mine out either, I leave them in, cover them with the old cut down stems, and straw....learned this trick from a very elderley experienced Dahlia grower....

I do the same, usually works well.
