Figs

my goodness what a harvest, sadly I do not like figs but my OH would be in his glory.

Its certainly a good crop. Not too keen myself

Ooh, I love them, and so many!

Oh Princess Y and Cinder don't like them. Shame. I didn't fancy them much before, but I can happily eat them now.

I made jam with them (Janey, 3kg, that was, the figs in the above photo), but silly me didn't cook long enough and the last jar I opened turned vinegary. That was a bit of a horror!

I like baked figs. They smell like baked sweet potatoes, and taste totally different from eating them fresh.
