Isn't it? Going to, hopefully, make a small "hint of oriental" garden area here.

That's a real shame, Neellan. I wonder if the fact that it was in a pot, and perhaps the roots froze for too long in the pot, is what killed it, rather than the prolonged snow cover this past winter?

Most probably David it was a standard one I had only had it 2 years :o( so it would never have looked as spectacular as the Haven one anyhow!!

:-)) Sk!

I don't know for sure, Sandygirl, but the GOYpedia page "Wisteria" has pruning info, which am looking at now. To the right of my pic is a "Featured on..." section. Click on the Wisteria tab to go to the goypedia page on this plant, and scroll down to the questions section. there is some pruning info there.

Lovely David. Please tell me if I can grow them in tropical climate?

23 Aug, 2010

Hi Camillia! Thought that you were in Nepal, not the tropics? As Wisteria sinensis originated in China, I'd think that it would grow well for you! :-))

Many Plants which were originally collected from Nepal, Tibet, The Himalayas, etc., grow very well here, and I have many favourites. :-))
