Homebird, critters like our old forest which we leave in its natural state. We keep about 2 acres around the house cleaned up(sort of) :-)

Wish I could see one of these, never have. Have only the tawny or wood owls around here & they're hard to see at night. Lovely photo.

They are wonderful to see and this is a frequent visitor Feverfew. I did not see any other owls here but I know there are some in smaller numbers. The Barred owl is the most common owl on Southern Vancouver Island and this one made our old forest its home. It has a mate and they can be noisy at night.
