This is a corner of the new side garden we put in last year (October 2011). The Clematis Panniculata is growing nicely & had lots of pretty flowers on it this year. I am so pleased with the way this little corner is beginning to develop.

Thank you ladies. As this clematis was only planted about a year ago, I am very happy with the way it is developing. It can cover up to 8 metres, so will eventually clothe that wall along the top,& is already beginning to spill over the top & onto the other side. I am now choosing a clematis to grow on the other side of the fence, with the idea that the two will merge at the top & intertwine for a pretty effect at front of house. Very early days in our garden, as only began planting a year ago & it is very much a matter of developing one area & then moving on to start on another .....we are hoping to get a lot of it set up in time for our retirement in 2016.
