Which type of Hummingbird is this???

This is the Hemaris thysbe, common Clearwing moth. This moth is a bit larger than the Snowberry.

I wish it was Gardengnome...lol. This little fellow is about 2 and 3/4 inches long. Just a little smaller than a hummingbird.

It's very colorful. On first glance you just might mistake it for a humming bird.

I can take an oath on this: I saw one of these in Moosonee, thats sub-arctic folks... I thought for sure I was seeing things...never heard of the them before that time... I have seen them here, several hundred miles south of where I saw the first one!!
