sounds like a very good plan. none of the bricks I've used are permanent...my pond could be taken apart and moved in an hour or so. the only permanent bit is the wall...none of the blocks that form the east and west sides and the south ends of the pentagon are mortared. This is as close as I get to a temporary feature!

Thanks Gillian...with the recent rain it's just jumped into life...the annual poppies are blooming already! the only concern is the delphs...they've been really slow to bloom and are sickly looking... and the kingsize mullein in the pic showed up in the wrong spot ...it's looking good so I'm leaving it where it is it will be done by mid July and I can remove it then..but at present it's shading my mini roses.

Thanks Stroller! my tastes are very "eclectic", so they tell me. I've been trying to find the best low care combinations...it's an ongoing experiment in my gardens...they're never exactly the same from one year to the next.

See what you've done with the bricks, I was thinking of doing that with sleepers to make another octagon to match all the other octagons in my garden....looks good!
