My lovely new steps...19th Sept  09

My neighbour Martin built these steps for me yesterday...they make such an improvement to the patio area and lead up to the decking, Im delighted with them....:>)

Yes, did it before! Gutted a wilderness, fenced it, landscaped it & planted it up, then started on the house!

Very nice! I like the way he's laid a soldier course along the front edge of each step - that way you can see the edge clearly, especially coming down them - much safer.

I didnt know they were called a soldier course Elke.....but i see what you mean....im very pleased with them...better than the horrible old cement things that were there before and VERY steep....:>)
