Thanks both ... Yes , they've gone , cooked with a fresh sprig of mint ..eaten with a large lump of butter , I always think the first ones are the best .. :o))

After seeing these lovely spuds,I am going to have a look to see if any of mine are ready yet....When did you plant them Amy? I have been itching to have a
look,but resisted so far,as thought it might be too early.....

Mushy you have been so horrible to Fred you have scared him away we haven't seen him for ages .. :o(

They were planted at the beginning of March Sandra and had fleece over them for protection ....

Mine weren't planted till end of March,Amy,because of the weather.I had mine fleeced over too,so wondering if it might be a bit early for mine yet...Shall I,or shan't I,,take a peek?....decisions ,decisions..
