First New Potatoes , two weeks earlier than usual , Variety Rocket ... Planted 9th March ..
I can't wait , I,ve got some nice fresh mint in the garden and some butter ....Yum Yum !

They look good and I best they tasted good too. I have some growing in buckets (first time I've tried this!) so will be interesting to see what I end up with. I just used new potatoes that had sprouted in my cupboard!!

Funny you should say that about sprouting potatoes , I have been waiting for a new cooking hob this week so haven,t been able to boil potatoes untill yesterday , I looked in my potatoe basket this morning at the old ones and the sprouting roots were lifting the lid off and growing through the basket weave at the sides , Lol , it looked so funny ........
