Great hsta. I can see you don't get too many slugs. We are blessed in that area too, we only get a few small ones but a lot of snails.

I do not know why it is successful here, as we get the huge "banana" slugs, here as well, also this is a wettish area. I think it is because it is so mature.
I have at least 50-70 hostas. Love them all

i to cant enjoy my hostas because of slugs ive tried every thing. your s looks great,

Thx Zandra, have you tried the copper band thing? Try putting them in pots, Loads of my hostas love being in pots & that way I keep the little devils at bay. Try it, as this works great.

What a gorgeous hosta. I am desperate to go and buy one but we have so many slugs and snails that I think it wouldn't last a night!

Put it in a pot, a huge one as they grow fast & furious, they R stunning in containers really try it. Especially "Sum & Substance" oh my!!!!!!Lol
