Caribou Descending

Caribou Descending

A multiblock sculpture, couldn't resist teasing with a few more. I've made a blog of about 60 sculptures, just couldn't pass any up.

I am interested to know how long these take to do - and how long do they last? The turtles are still my favourites!

Artists show in January and the show starts in February. Some looked like the artists ran out of time. I think there is a timeline as well. I have so many photos the blog might take a while. Check out this site

This show was astounding. I knew they were intricate, but I didn't realize the size of some of these.

FAbulous! I was thinking last night, whata shame you live somewhere where you do most of your gardening indoors but hey with impressive things like this.... hey, well, enjoy!

I've found these after typing in garden sculptures in the hope of seeing a sculpture for my garden. Somehow I don't think these would suit our climate (perhaps at the moment they would) but aren't they amazing and so beautiful. I'll have to look at your blog now:-)))

Thank you. Yes they have no place in the garden, well in a winter garden. I should maybe try that. :-) We have this event every year, ice sculpture from around the world. The forms could inspire a great idea.

From all over the world. This really is a great event. Cold walk, but wonderful shapes and ideas. I have a blog with lots if you haven't found it already. I don't have many to sort through. :-)
