Mint roots

Mint is wonderful isn't it ... always making such a potfull And a fantastic smell too :o)

Yes certainly Hywel - can see why it needs containing though :D I want to plant some in a glass vase to see all the roots

I have Coleus growing in a vase with water....still small at the moment. Mint...good idea, smells nice too.

Hi Alexandra - agree yes - soon grows - I have water mint in aqua place and it really spreads fast , peppermint

I think I'm going to plant some more herbs this year....;o

superb herb Paul. I have a couple, apple & an old unknown variety. I have planted each in a large 12" pot & plunged them into the veg bed to restrain root run.

Thanks Bampy - Apple sounds very nice - have Chocolate mint which is beautiful !! I don't actually eat them until they get very big - just like the look and smell :D

I've just eaten a bowl of green veg. and mint soup! Yum yum. Yesterday, I bought a pot of 'living mint' in the supermarket and I was sniffing it all around as I did my shopping....the smell of summer! :)))
