I love the colour and shape of the leaves and the way they dance in a gentle breeze. My Mum gave me a two year old tree for my birthday two years ago. I planted it so that I can see it from the kitchen and lounge windows, it has doubled in height since then.

Beautiful, bright and fast growing too! Four more years and the trunk should be about 2 inches thick. I have one that illuminates a dark corner in summer. Love it!

Great news Muddywellies, I hope this one is fast growing too. Our light sandy soil does tend to slow things up a bit here.

I have this one in my back garden. The leaves really are beautiful and it never fails to get commented on when someone comes into the garden.
