what a lovely colour, i dont have alot of luck with lillies we have these horrible bettles red ones look like a ladybird but not and they munch and munch. I have no idea how to get rid of them i have been ruthless but to no avail. Also i now have what looks like blobs of mud all over the leaves and on closer inspection they are very pale very small slug looking horrors . My lillies look very sad ( boo hoo )!

jewells the black blobs are the lily beetles babies, take some warm soapy water and wipe them off I use to have these lily beetles really bad but it seems to be getting better, I went to a garden centre and told them what was wrong with my lilys and they told me to use neem oil, you mix some of the neem oil with water, spay all of the lily plants , the top and bottom of the leaves and the flowers aswell, then pour some of the mixture right on the soil around your plants, this takes awhile but after awhile it works
