Your garden photos are really lovely Crissue, it has paid off all the hard work. Lots of colour and looks calm again now after all the rain, we are nice and fresh here too. Have a good weekend.

Doing a bit while I can...Have Hostas to replant in a new bed, the beds ready courtesy of OH before the grand Prix started...need to split them...but shouldn't take long...

Looking good Crissue, we've just sat and watched Grand Prix, what a shame about Lewis Hamilton......

Thanks Frybo & Stripes x

Yes such a shame poor Lewis, he and Jenson Button, I love to watch them racing...at least Jenson made the Podium for third, coming from 13th...good going that, well done the Brits...:))))

OH is watching Motor Bike GP now, while I fiddle about clearing up outside...been a good day here, managed to cover most things, without rushing....:)))

Being in the landscaping business, obviously you know how to do things right Sue..Looks like what you see in magazines. Beautiful. This is the first time I came across your pictures. Without looking, please consider them all attractive. But I will be looking at them one by one to learn something from every picture. Thanks.

Morning Vavilla...thankyou for the lovely compliment...
It's been ten years nearly since I was in the Business...and just do my own thing...with the help of GOY Members ideas, Plant selections, and their designs also, every little bit adds...All plants have moved on since my time, and many new species have been developed, and such an array of colour...brought to life on these pages...It's also a treat to see Gardens from around the World...even if we can't grow ourselves, it's a treat to be able to view them...Happy Gardening...:))))

Had a big Storm here yesterday...just as my Roses were beginning to pick themselves up, after not the most prolific season...dread to look close, but look a bit unhappy...The rain was so heavy its bounced out of the Gutter, and filled empty watering cans, and buckets...not done the garden a power of good tho...will inspect after my T....
Have a great Sunday everyone....:)))

After the rains, out here Sue, what we have to worry about are the mosquitoes. Specially if the gutters have got blocked by falling leaves...........If you don't have mossies out there, you are lucky. Count your blessings.

No we don't Vav...luckily......I got bitten years ago on my eye lid...and still now I get bothered with it sometimes, swelling and itching...

6 Sep, 2011

That would have been some kind of kitto......
seriously..got to get it seen to if it bothers you still....that is where Neem comes in handy....as I am talking water boiled in Neem is ready for my eyes....gives relief after eye strain and anything else connected to eyes..it is a panacea for everything......my herbal instincts come out whenever someone complains of any medical problem...anyway a new comer to this site claims to be an Auyrvedic therapist..
