Very nice corner Lori, is that Cleomi on the left? I had some seeds but forgot to plant them.

Lovely, Lori.

thank you all! Janey, they are self seeds from last year...didn't plant a one...lol. I was hoping more of the pink ones would have survived our deep snow last winter...That made a real difference to a lot of the perennials in my garden... but I do love the purple too.

Wonderful looking specimen Lori ! They have really put on some height in the last 5 weeks.

Sad, isn't it, that they have hit their stride just as the weather is going to turn?

Ligularia looks really good too.

I"m hoping for more of those fuzzy seed heads from this Gregynog... The seed I planted came up and it's spreading profusely..but it's a much different plant...I suppose a regression...as the red colour is absent except in the leaf veins. and when the new leaves emerge they are covered with milky white fuzz and the plant sends out off shoots every direction!! Will have to divide this plant to get more. Any luck from your seeds, Gillian?

Unfortunately none of the seeds made it - either didn't grow or something ate them. I was inspired to invest in my own plant, hoefully more of a challenge for the slugs, and I have saved from seed from that which I will maybe start indoors next year.

Wow, that's huge ! Now that's what they're supposed to look like. I think our drought is what's causing mine to be behind, even though I watered them every day.
