Sorry to butt in here, but, maybe, can help? I may be a bloke (and a pirate , to boot!!), but am editor of the recipes page. coz I 'as a crew to feed, an' ship's cook is among me many "trades", as well as cooking and GYO!. Recipes posted initially as pics, with details below, are included (if I finds 'em, or someone let's me know). So, don't disregard pics alone, on that page, as many have recipes posted below. Best, however, methinks, to post the recipe as a blog, with a delicious pic or 2 here an' there, to whet the appetite!!!!! I 'as to keep me crew scurvy-free, after all! :-))))

Most are there, on that page, but if any you know of are not, please let me know by nominating - and feel free to nominate your own stuf, too!!!

17 Nov, 2010

that chutney looks very good, do you sell it Yorkshire? i didnt even know we had a recipe section ~ thats why i was asking about having a cookery blog ~ although im now wondering whether it should be a 'creating with us' blog which would include all the crafts and food?
ive made chutney for the first time this week ~ delia's christmas chutney recipe ~ seems very nice.

22 Nov, 2010

I don't sell the chutney Sticki, just make it for the family, I also make a fantastic Piccallili, only problem there is when I put the mustard in I have to leave the kitchen and OH takes over, I am allergic to the mustard when its cooking, glad you found the recipe page, take a look at Shirleys plum cake, its delicious, just put a different fruit in than plums,a craft one would be good for us, at least it keeps us on here and in touch whilst we can't get in the garden,

23 Nov, 2010

i havent found the page yet yorkshire ~ only that you have one!!! do you know where it is?
that cake sounds very good ~ i would certainly like that recipe!
i emailed to find out about the cookery site and peter said there was enough interest but it will take a while.
so thats something to look forward to.

23 Nov, 2010

is it the recipe page you have not found yet Sticki, if it is scroll to the bottom of the page and click on R, on the lest hand side you will see recipes from the garden,

24 Nov, 2010

aha! yes fabulous ~ thank you

24 Nov, 2010

obviously you found the recipe page then Sticki, David is in charge of it, so if at any time you wanted to put a recipe on PM David so he knows and he will add it to the recipe page,

24 Nov, 2010
