And now I really am jealous. I love Rhodies, but am on chalk. I was tempted to get a miniture for a pot yesterday, but the Acer won.

ray its about 18inches across and about 10inches from ground, approx,but has so many buds, just covered ;o)this is second year, but w.ont get much bigger.

That's a beauty...Do you have acid soil where you are..? We have trouble with rhody's and Camilla's and have to grow in pots although they not looking very well this year..:o(((

mushy i havent a clue what the soil is in raised border, just ordered top soil when it was made, we have clay underneath, so maybe it is more acid, i should do a test really but i wont cause im not into all that science in the garden, if it grows thats good and if not well i dont get another lol, these dwarf ones are great in pots to so you could have one
