This is one of the oddest plants I have ever seen. It looks like sausage is hanging down from the treetop. This seemed to be quite an old tree. Kigelia

How tall is this tree? I've read in Florida they can grow to 50 feet tall.
Here in San Diego...they usually top out at 30 - 35 feet tall. This tree looks very tall.

This one was on the Ringling estate in Sarasota. I would say 30-40 ft tall, but it may have been bigger. The bottom of the "strings" were above my head.
