it used to be a solar water feature.... lol....... when it broke i used it 4 planting... the top pot was where the water came out...

Oh, a daff! This is wonderful. Reminds me of those bulbs that will work right through a straw bale to show their faces to spring.

I don't. I have never seen them in a garden here, even the botanical garden. Might be like the tulip, a nice underground storage of winter food for the shrew. I should test them out anyway I think. Bianca keeps the rodents under control.
