Tree ferns with hats

This is how our tree ferns look at the moment! We stuff fleece into the crown, then put an upturned washing up bowl on top and cap it all with a dustbin lid! - all well tied on with bungey straps!
And the banana musa basjoo is wrapped in weed suppressant fabric so it's not so obvious as white fleece during the winter
