I was at the Essex Wildlife Trust's reserve at Fingringhoe a couple of weeks ago and saw a number of these which look like seed heads. Can anyone identify this for me please?

A relative of the Dandelion out in early spring is Colts foot. Could this be the seed head of it ? I haven't seen any for years.

Thank you all. It does look like a member of the dandelion family but have no idea which one.All I know is that it was a lovely looking plant.

Is colt's foot spread electronically? I have a whole whack of it and I don't remember planting it...maybe I caught it from goY! lol.
