Not many flowers on the shrub, but they're very pretty.

I went out this morning with camera in hand, to photograph the snowdrops at Barry Mill, but when I arrived there were only a very few out and a few aconites. If we got some sunshine that would certainly help!

That's strange isn't it? I love it though. I wonder if it is a 'rogue'...you might have a new var B!

Funnily enough, an advert has appeared to the right from Burncoose - it says 'Abeliophyllum distichum 'Roseum'! I think the mystery is solved, don't you? ;-)

I noticed that, and I typed a comment about it and then I accidentally wiped the text and couldn't be bothered re-typing it!! :) I have had a very busy day, in my defence!

:)) Fog Fog Fog here today B.....sigh! But I've been cheered up on here no end and Meanie showed me the 'rare plants' site...have you been on there? Oh goodness!! I have a 'saved basket' already!

I think it may be a site I've got as a favourite, Karen. I love browsing through them. I got a few plants from Beth Chatto yesterday. Her site is another good one for plants not available elsewhere, well, not at GCs, anyway!

Well yes, I have been using Beth Chatto as you know. I like the way her plants are packed, in newspaper and plastic bags. Much easier than pots I find, and it means the plants are cheaper too. I'm very impressed with her service and her plant selections....very good! It was you that suggested her for geraniums originally, thanks!

Ooops! Sorry - I'd forgotten that. Maybe I should be on commission! :-)

Very Pretty, like a ballet skirt.

I've been meaning to get a white one Barbara, but I may take a ride to Burncoose for the pink one. Although you cann't always get what you want by calling in, usually mail order, will phone first.

I know Andrew has one - he told me they flower better after a hot summer. (haha).
