Acer palmatum Elegans at Stourhead Gardens, National Trust property, Warminster, Wiltshire. There were lots of this particular variety dotted all over the estate. It positively glowed.

Klahanie, I hadn't seen that. Yes, that looks lovely. The sun came out from behind the clouds for just a moment, and the tree looked as if it was on fire. Shame I didn't catch a shot of it then. Still impressive though.

I like this picture Nicky, the reflection of the structure in the water without actually seeing the building itself is brilliant.
