Tracey - no, I bought the plant
DD - if it's only just come into flower, then it's this variety. I grow it because it gives colour so late in the season

It has been flowering and is till flowering now, so it is possible.

I love Aconitum or Monkshood. They are available in some really gorgeous dark blue tones. We used to use them a lot when I worked at the shop, but they often get mistaken for Delphiniums. This looks like it has grown quite well, did you grow it from seed Andrew?
