It was last spring and summer when it last flowered. I did post some pics of Adenium over this past winter that were flowering at the San Diego Zoo. (It's very unusual for this plant to flower in winter here)

It must be all that heat your having Andy as I recall you saying it needs tge heat.

It was hot today and tomorrow will be even hotter, then by Monday the temps will take a dive. lol! Only in the low 70's from the upper 80's.

What a beautiful flower! ?

Like 3d we also had around 15C with a couple of hours of sunshine & clouds but tomorrow we are forecast more sunshine & slightly higher temps before it falls again on Monday. Though the weather is forecast to get very hot (for us!) on Wednesday & Thursday. ???

Balcony,

Thank you. :>))

It's been really hot here the last week; however, there's some changes coming on Monday here, also. It's only going to be in the low 70's F (low 20's C.) here. It's a change from the high 80's F (or high 30's C).

Aleyna,

Thank you! How's your Adeniums growing?

17 Apr, 2018

Delonix,

The stem still shrink, but is not soft, and a few new leaves have appeared. So, I believe it is safe so far. Thanks for asking. I might post a picture.

That's good news! :>)) It can be a tricky plant to grow sometimes. I had two varieties which died about 5 years ago. I watered them too much during winter, even though the weather was very warm. It generally doesn't like any water during winter (when dormant).

We still have high temperatures, over 24ºC. But, I took note about stop watering during winter. Thanks again.

You're welcome.

That's a good idea. When days starting getting shorter I stop watering my Adenium.
