It looks lovely. Don't know how you manage to acquire that much ajuga as whenever I have planted some it gets demolished by slugs

To be honest, I think the camera had something to do with the strong blue
(look at the roof!)

Maybe it was that time of the evening

I can grow ajuga quite easily in the damp Welsh soil

That looks really lovely. I have Ajuga but it doesn't flower as well as this, I think my garden is too dry for it!
Mind you , I should think you'd like to have a dry garden by the looks of your later pond pics!

How right you are Paul, this little rockery is pretty much the only dry bit of the garden. When it rains hard, all that ajuga gets covered with water for a few hours

I suspect the Ajuga doesn't mind being waterlogged for a few days, but it must be a problem gardening with the constant threat of flooding. Tou do very well!

Your ajuga has inspired me. I'm going to plant more of it this spring, and will keep it well watered so maybe it will look like yours.

Thanks Valerie2!

I wonder what your climate is like compared to wet Wales?

I have since loaded the flooded rockery picture to show what I am up against!
