Astrantia major 'Alba' - 2009

I love the form of these flowers.

Is this before it comes up all the way?

I have been to an open garden today in the National Garden Scheme Andrew, it was called Moyclare, in Cornwall, where Moira Reid lived & one can buy Astrantia "Moira Reid". I already have it with several others, I think they are lovely.

Tasyg - it's just opening

Pamd - I'm trying to grow a dark red (Claret), pink (Roma) and this one to all flower together but the red one is sulking and refuses to play :-(

So far, Hadspens Blood is just starting to flower, but not very red yet, will put it on when better. I bought one last year called Moulin Rouge.

Oh this reminds me i bought an Astrantia last year, wonder where it is? bet i've lost it don't remember seeing it anywhere...:o(
