Paul look at the bottom of the page under 'c', they are the most beautiful shrub to be planted in shelter away from morning sun and they reward you with the most splendid flowers. I love them.

Hope it grows well for you looks as though you have buds already at the top.

Lovely ! Is this new ?
I was given a Camellia as an "apology" from a co-op supermarket, which had "failed" in customer service..lol.
It has been flowering for a number of years now...
yes, smashing plants :o)

yes TT it is new, it has lots of buds on and it is white. i was given it by my son's fiance's parents ~ her mum helps out in a garden centre, ~ looks as though she had the pick of the plants
i love camellias and i have just the place for this one ~ outside the lounge window, its just by the front door for shelter and while the builders are working round the back of the house.
thanks all of you for your comments ~ i only found them today! sorry.

I love them too, but so disappointed last year despite being overflowing with buds the frost got them and as soon as they started to open they fell off, so make sure you give it some protection;0)

it will eventually go in the back garden, not far from the hedge which will hopefully protect it ~ i think im right in thinking that if you protect them from early morning sun they will be ok. the other 2 in the garden seem to be ok although they are a lot bigger.
