Coreopsis 'Ruby Frost'

This was new last year? first time I have seen it and I love it.

I bought it earlier this year, Denise. The Nursery said it was a 'hardier' type than most Coreopsis, but that doesn't mean a lot if the weather is harsh, does it.

No it does not the losers and survivors always surprise me.

I hope so too its delightful!!

One of my Coreopsis did survive the winter. I'm trying to think of its name...not a yellow one, the pink with darker edges.

This is a good name . . . fingers crossed for you, it's a beauty!

american dream sends out runners, through the soil, so I just chop through with the spade, lift and pot.
does this one spread by runners?

I don't know yet - it was new in the spring. The only one I had that sent out runners was C. vercillicata - bright yellow - but I lost that last year. :-( It did stay with me for 4 years, though.
