My favourite Dahlia, Bishop of Llandaff, kindly sent by Amy....:o)) I was talking to someone who grew this and apparently if you grow this from the previous year's seed, it wont come true to the Llandaff Dahlia, but will be a type of Bishop Dahlia.....shall save seed to try this!!

Lovely picture, wonder if thats were they get the seeds for the 'Bishops Children' dahlias ? I grew them the other year and boy were there some bright colours, very nice :-)

Do you know its one thing I didn't collect seed from, damn, dug up all the tubers of the ones I really liked and left them to dry out in the greenhouse it was the winter of 2010/11 and the flippin snow came so quickly couldn't get in the greenhouse for weeks when I did they'd all rotted :-( , I must remember to order more seed next spring.
