The flowers have lovely scent (I can't smell it now because I've got "olbas oil" all around my nose, unfortunately). They have a shade of purple on the white petals. Very easy to grow (even "I" can manage it!).

Additional info:
I snitched a bit of the massive clump from my parents' glasshouse back in March 2011 and potted it up. It flowered for the first time in April 2013. Here's the pic:

It's a cool-growing lithophytic orchid from Eastern Australia, where it is also known as the “pink rock lily”.

That's beautiful ! I've never heard of it either, your parents have some lovely plants :-)

It's beautiful! I've seen them for sale in white...just not too often. I have the purple-lavender-pink one growing outside and it blooms in late winter. It's actually still flowering.
I would never think it could grow inside a house. They like almost full sun outside to flower well here in San Diego, CA.

Delonix1, thanks for your comment!
I've seen your pink one in the past. The colour of yours is gorgeous dark pink and looks somewhat different from my white one, just because of the colour. I put mine outdoors from April till autumn, under the tree peony, and bring it in again before it gets too cold. Love it :-)

You're welcome. :>)
I love the fragrance of the flowers! I used to have beautiful Cattleyas outside and they were too neglected during our severe drought. Unfortunately, they died. They used to have such beautiful, sweet, and fragrant flowers.

Delonix1,
what a shame your Cattleyas died. They are very showy and elegant, a bit like... I can't think of a celebrity... Penelope Cruz? lol

Yes, Cattleyas are very showy! :>)
Luckily, they're very common here and not expensive. I had a pure yellow one which is pretty rare and not commonly sold.
Here's a my photo of the pure yellow Cattleya.

What a shame you lost it :-(

When we get out of this historic, severe drought maybe I'll buy a couple more. I have lost so many rare and exotic plants (which I've had for years) to the HORRIBLE 5 year drought. It was forecasted for us in Southern California to receive 200 percent of normal rainfall because of the "Mega" El Niño (strongest on record); however, it never happened. It's been another year of record high temps in the middle of winter (which feels like the middle of summer most of the time) dry and sunny weather prevails here.
We're only at about 60 percent of normal rainfall and our rainy season is pretty much done! :>((

I didn't know you've been suffering from horrible drought for the past 5 years. It sounds really strange for me that you have hot winter which feel like summer. So you don't have the "real" winter like us. Wow. It must feel like you're living in the tropical places such as French Polynesia etc but without rain (then more like living in Egypt?). I lived in a country called Palau in the South Pacific, east of Philippines, and it was hot and humid all through the year.
Here's the map of Palau:

Tommymoo:
This drought has been historic. The worst on record for all of California. The only saving grace this year is that Northern California had quite a bit of rain and the Sierra Mountains have approximately 100 percent of their snow pack this year. Last year no snow at all in the Sierra Mountains where they measure for water content. It was the first year in recorded history there wasn't any snow!
Yes, the last 5 years or so our winters have been so very warm. They typically are warm; however, I'm talking HOT! This past February was the hottest on record for San Diego and surrounding areas were much hotter. Day-after-day of temps from: 80 - 95ºF (27 - 35ºC), that's our normal summer temps from the beach being the cooler temp to the inland averaging that higher temp. Not only were the days hot the nights were very warm, also. It pretty unusual to have temps staying at or above 75ºF (24ºC) at midnight or later in the middle of winter. This happened last year, also.
The mangoes last year were ripening in early May...I don't ever remember this happening here in San Diego and the Los Angeles Area (they ripen this early in truly tropical climates, not in our dry subtropical climate). Mangoes don't typically ripen until mid-to-late August and through September in Southern California (excluding the deserts).

Never heard of Kingianum had to look it up, a small flowered Dendrobium, looking like Lily of the Valley.
