What a lovely flower, it looks more like a clematis than a deutzia! How tall does the shrub grow?

That's lovely isn't it. I'm just appreciating the first ever flowers on my Strawberry Fields which is another one you inspired me to get!

Not at all like a deutzia flower is it.

Deutzias don't get very tall, R'smum...not more than about 4', I think - and of course they can be pruned.

Must be your soil in that part of the world there are loads (not R'smum) over 8 foot around the Malmesbury area.

Really? Well, mine are all new-ish, so maybe in a few years' time, they'll get bigger. I wouldn't object! ;-)
