This red Carnation has been growing on my balcony for years now, it propagates from pipings very easily. I root a few new plants every year. They originally came from a bunch of Red Carnations our daughter gave her mum at least 7 or 8 years ago. I found a couple of shoots among the stems, put them in a pot of soil & - hey presto - deep red florists' Carnations for nothing!!!
